Celebration of Life Service for Joseph “Joey” Brochu, 65 of Enid, will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Oakwood Christian Church with Reverend Steve Williams officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. You are encouraged to wear your favorite racing shirt to the celebration of life service.
Joseph was born on June 13, 1957 on the USAF Base in Burtonwood, England to Joseph and Donna (Snyder) Brochu and died on November 24, 2022 in Enid.
Joseph grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. He was the owner and operator of Brochu Roofing. On March 11, 2006, he married Marilyn Storey in Las Vegas, Nevada and they made their home in Enid. Joseph had multiple championships at Enid Motor Speedway, limited sportsman/ pro stock division. He also drove in the Nastrak drivers search in Charlette, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Joe is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Megan and husband, Heath Kehnemund and Adam (AJ) and wife, Kathy Brochu; four grandchildren, Ethan, Madison and Peyton Kehnemund, KaDynce Brochu; brother and his wife, Ronald and Anita Brochu; other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to ESPCA or Accentra Hospice.
