Funeral Service for Jon Nelson, age 64 of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with Jesse Nelson officiating. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jon Dewayne Nelson was born on June 26, 1958 in Enid to George and Rho-Donna (Selby) Nelson and passed away on October 21, 2022 in Oklahoma City.
Jon traveled the US working as track hoe operator for many years. Worked on wheat harvest with his dad and brothers from an early age. He was Baptized at Life Church in 2018.
Jon was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, parents George D. Nelson; Rho-Donna (Selby) Nelson; brother Rick Nelson.
grandparents Elgin and Florence Selby and L.A. and Florence Nelson.
Jon is survived by stepchildren; Kimberly Pearson (Chuck); Kevin Smith (Renee); six grandchildren; eight great-children, brothers Les and (Sherri) Nelson; sister Darla and (John) Jankey; sister-in-law Tammie Nelson; nieces Lacie Jankey; Miranda Quigley; Nichole Vargas; Crystal Amsler; nephews Jesse Nelson, Ryan Nelson and Kody Dirickson; great nephew and niece Grayson and Mylah Quigley.
