Johnny Lee Johnson was born to Grady and Betty (Gallagher) Johnson on July 13, 1951, in Kermit, Texas, and passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016.
Johnny graduated from Kremlin High School in 1969. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated with a degree in industrial arts education. Johnny married his true love, Jeanne (Romhild) on March 14, 1981. Johnny was a jack of many trades. He worked as a high school shop teacher, handy man, truck driver, and meter reader to name a few. He worked as a store room manager at OG&E for many years and retired in 2013.
Johnny was a real character. He had a million stories to tell and was always ready with a corny joke. He had a heart for helping people and loved his family and friends. Johnny’s life was lived in such a way that he had enough experiences to fill several volumes. He will be greatly missed, but his laughter and stories will continue through those who remember him.
Johnny is survived by his daughter McKiesha Claypole and husband Clint; daughter Shannon Culler and husband Jason; and grandchildren Avery, Kadyn, Brooks, Reese, and Jaxon.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanne; son Curtis Johnson, parents Grady and Betty Johnson, and brother Luke Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Bennie’s Barn.
