Celebration of life service for John Szczepaniak, 52 of Enid will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM Tuesday. Burial with military honors will be at a later date in Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
John was born on May 20, 1970 in Enid to Zbigniew John and Betty Sue (Randolph) Szczepaniak and passed away at his home in Enid on August 9, 2022.
John grew up in Enid and graduated from Chisholm high school. He worked for Groendyke Transport as tech support. John loved hunting, fishing, playing golf, and scuba diving.
John is survived by his brother James Szczepaniak; father Zbigniew Szczepaniak; foster parents Kim and Chuck Welker of Kremlin Hillsdale, aunts and uncles Bonnie and Richard Szczepaniak, Marion Szczepaniak, Krystyna Szczepaniak, and Rosy Branwell; and nieces Jasmine and Natalia.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Katherine Szczepaniak, and cousins Angela Szczepaniak and Brad Szczepaniak.
