The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Jo Ann Belvin, 53, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday June 7, 2024, in the New Beginnings Wesleyan Fellowship with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Complete cremation care is under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Jo Ann was born December 26, 1970, to Carl and Mary (Smith) Simons in Helena, Oklahoma and passed from this life June 3, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Ringwood, graduating with the Ringwood High Class of 1989. She then attended school in Oklahoma City, after which she settled in Enid working at the Minor Emergency Clinic. She spent most of her years as a stay-at-home mother and found joy in raising her children. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and watching true crime shows.
She is survived by her sisters Carlene Cunningham, and Peggie Simons. Son Carl Belvin and wife Molly, Son Brian Belvin, Daughter Lacey Harris and husband Scott, and two granddaughters, Avery and Emma Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mary Simons, Brother Roger Simons, and her Husband Ronnie Hamen.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Circle of Love Hospice with Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home serving as custodian of the funds.
