Celebration of life services for Jo Ann Bolenbaugh, 76, Enid, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in Calvary Chapel with Scott Whitley officiating. Arrangments are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
Jo Ann was born on April 3, 1939 in Ringwood, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edward and Minnie Main Long, and passed away peacefully on January 1, 2016. She attended the Ringwood School System and graduated from Enid Business College. Jo Ann worked for Enid Livestock, Medical Transcriptionist for Bass Hospital and St. Mary’s and for Dr. Gooch as a his medical records typist. Jo Ann married Neil Bolenbaugh in Enid on March 30, 1973. They lived on a dairy farm in Carrier until moving to Lahoma, later moving to Enid. In 1986, Neil and Jo Ann formed Bolenbaugh Insurance Agency, Inc. Jo Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a talented artist, enjoyed drawing and painting.
Survivors include, her husband Neil of the residence; son Michael and his wife Geneva Bolenbaugh of Enid; grandchildren, Brieanna, Aaron, and Lillieanna Bolenbaugh, all of Enid; sister, Janice and husband Gary Crissup of Helena; daughter-in-law, Wanda Leatherman of Enid; brother-in-laws, Ronnie Koehn of Carrier, Ken and wife Sheryl Bolenbaugh of Carrier; sister-in-laws, Lois Long of Oklahoma City, Myra Long of Woodward.
Jo Ann was preceded in passing by her parents, Edward and Minnie Main Long; sister, Linda Koehn, son (by a previous marriage) Edward Leatherman, brothers, Don Long, Alvin Long, Wayne Long, and Kenneth Long. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
