Our beloved Jennifer Mendel Branham after a long period of ill health went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2024. Jenn was born on March 26, 1981 to Randy and Cindy Mendel in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised predominantly in the Enid/Fairview Oklahoma area, but her daddy being in the oilfield moved to Texas, where she experienced some elementary and middle school years. Jennifer was in the graduating class of Fairview in 1999. She went on to achieve her associates degree from Redlands Community College, then pursued her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Jennifer became a Licensed Practical Counselor and worked for Oklahoma Play Therapy. Then shortly after she opened her own firm “Conquering Transitions” in 2007. Jennifer worked for various other Counseling Agencies through the years until she became medically unable.

Jenn loved “Big”!! She had a heart of gold, brilliant in her field of work, and a sense of humor like no other. She had a passion for sports and was very competitive in softball, basketball, and track. She was creative and an amazing cook. Her highest achievement was her children. She loved each one of them unconditionally. She recognized their many talents and always encouraged them to be their best. She was their biggest fan!!!

Jennifer is survived by her husband Cody Branham, her children Cameron, Clayton, Randa, Raegan, Noah, and OakLee of Covington. Her mother Cindy Mendel of Covington; one sister, Amy McKinney and husband Damon McKinney; one brother, Kurt Mendel and wife Kelly Mendel; and several nieces and nephews: Logan, Mya, Tony, Lily, Aurora, Jacob, and Ryker McKinney; Kade and Kooper Mendel; and Jentry and Jett Brittain.
