A Memorial Service for Janette Dixson, age 72 years, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Janette was born March 27, 1944 in Fernald, Iowa to Alford J. and Iva A. (Wood) Corbin and passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Janette was a wonderful loving wife to Leonard for 44 years, mother to four sons and four daughters and helped to nurture and raise many more. She was a registered nurse and worked at St. Mary’s Hospital for several years before transferring to NORSE where she retired after 20 years. Janette was very proud of attaining her nursing degree and worked very hard making sure her patients received the best of care and comfort at their time of need.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Deanna and Delila. She is survived by her husband Leonard, of the home; four sons; four daughters; two brothers; one sister; numerous grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
Memorials in Janette’s name may be made toward funeral expenses with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
