Jana was born September 6, 1960 in Enid to J.C. and Myrtle Mae Gorton and died on April 15, 2020 at her home in Enid.

She grew up in Enid and Drummond. Jana worked at Coke-a-cola, Skaggs Grocery and several other places in Colorado and Enid.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Jeff Gorton and Bill Atkinson; step-father, Don Atkinson.

Jana is survived by her partner, Larry Vaughan; mother, Myrtle Mae Atkinson; brother, Jay Gorton; sisters, Wendy Savage, Carolyn Cline, Toni Parsons, and Lisa Atkinson; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
