They were married on the family farm on September 8, 1963, and just celebrated 54 years of marriage. He began working for Rock Island Railroad in 1964 and retired in 2005 after 41 years of service. Jim also was a home builder, and built many of the homes in 7-Pines and Quail Creek Additions while working for Munson Construction. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Moose Lodge, the Sports Car Club of America, and was an avid golfer. Jim dedicated his life to his family, and to Kremlin-Hillsdale Schools. He coached softball, football, basketball and baseball, never missing his children’s or grandchildren’s games. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and cheering on his K-H Broncs and his OSU Cowboys.
