A celebration of life reception for Jack Hammock will be 6 p.m. till close Friday, January 1, 2016 at The Chisholm Trail Expo Center.
Jack was born August 14, 1954 in San Marcos, TX to John and Donna (McDowell) Hammock and passed away December 29, 2015 in Enid.
Jack was raised in Enid and graduated Enid High School in 1972. He worked at the Overland Trail Arcade and was the co-owner of JT Grizzly’s, Winners Sports Bar and the Rocket 104.7 radio station. Jack was an announcer at Enid Speedway and worked as the property manager of Wagner Rentals. He enjoyed playing in the Thursday night pool tournaments at Scooters. He was an avid race fan and loved spending time with his family, friends and especially with his grandbabies.
Jack is survived by his wife, Jan of the home; daughter, Regi McCormick and husband, Jason of Yukon; grandchildren, Mason, Ian and Peyton all of Yukon; brother, Bill Hammock of Oklahoma City; sister, Debbie Prather of Guthrie, also many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lynn Ussery.
