Graveside service for Jack Edward Beam, Jr, “Pop”, 96 of Enid, will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Jack was born November 4, 1920 in Chandler, Oklahoma, to Jack Edward and Gladys (Brown) Beam, and passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 in Enid.

Jack served in the United States Air Force for over 26 year, serving during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a chief warrant officer at retirement. On October 11, 1942 he married Bobbie Lou Jones in Las Vegas. Jack was a life member of AFA, and MOAA.

Jack is survived by his son Jack Beam III and wife Elizabeth of Enid; 1 grandson Tim Beam and wife Debera; 2 great granddaughters Taylor Beam and Natalie Barber and husband Blake; and 3 great great grandchildren Emily Beam, Connor Barber, and Benjamin Barber. Pop most enjoyed trout fishing with all the kids.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Bobbie.
