The casket will be open prior to the service.
Johnnie (Iva Jean Bane), was born on December 10, 1933, at Estella, OK, to Ross A. Bane and Glessie M. (Wayman) Bane. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to the Nash, OK, area where Johnnie graduated from Nash High School in 1951. She then moved to Enid to attend Enid Business College where she met Sidney Earnheart and fell in love. They were married on February 14, 1953, and had two children, Tommi Jean and Bill Lee. Sid died on October 31, 1964. Johnnie lived in Caldwell, KS, where she worked as a veterinary assistant/secretary for Herb Schoonover and made many life-long friends. She married James Webster on December 27, 1966, and moved to Lamont, OK. Johnnie worked for a doctor in Lamont for a short period of time and then began working for DEM Operations as a secretary, until she retired in 2014. She and James moved to Stillwater where he passed away in 2015. Johnnie continued living in Stillwater surrounded by her family and making new friends everywhere she went. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2023, just 2 days shy of her 90th birthday. Johnnie was a member of the Lamont Methodist Church, where she was the financial secretary for many years.
Johnnie was the type of person that made friends everywhere she went. Her caretakers often said she was their “favorite” because she gave them a hard time! Johnnie had a kind and giving heart to anyone who needed her. She spent many hours at the Lamont Methodist Church helping with any, and all projects. If you were a relative or friend of Johnnie, you probably received a card from her every year. However, you had better save the stamp because she would ask you for it!
Johnnie is survived by her two children, Tommi Earnheart Leach and her husband Delbo, and Bill Earnheart and his wife Melinda; her six grandchildren, Lynsey Leach Espinoza and husband, Vidal, Andra Leach Beyer and husband Dustin, Jaron Leach and wife Jordi, Sid Earnheart and wife Jennifer, Ross Earnheart and wife Christel, and Kyle Earnheart; and 10 great-grandchildren. Johnnie is also survived by one sister Mickie Bane Rivers and husband Bob, and she leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
Johnnie is preceded in death by her husband, Sid; her husband, James; her parents; one sister, Boots and one brother, Larry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Church of Lamont or Karman Legacy Hospice of Stillwater with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
