The funeral service for Iva Del Galusha, 86 year-old Enid resident will be1:00PM Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Stanley Botts will officiate. A visitation with family is Tuesday evening from 6PM-8PM.
Iva was born December 17, 1933 in Enid to Iwan and Opal (Potter) Haworth and died Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Garland Road Nursing Home. She attended Glenwood, Longfellow, and Enid High Schools.
On February 24, 1949 she married Richard Byron Galusha and the couple made their home in Enid. She worked as a cashier at Homeland for many years and was an accomplished seamstress to many clients.
She attended Calvary Assembly Baptist. Church. She was an accomplished seamstress, quilt-maker, painter, gardener, and an author of children’s stories.
She is survived by her Daughter Esther Manes, one son Kenneth Galusha both of Enid. 3 grandchildren, Stacey Davis, Greg Heim and wife Amanda and Rebbekah and huband Alex Schraut. 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and brother Neal Haworth and wife Mary. of Texas, and half brother Glen Haworth and wife Kathy. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard.
