ENID, Okla. - Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management, and Ticketing & Fan Engagement at the Enid Event Center & Convention Hall, along with the City of Enid today announced an expanded 10-year partnership with Central National Bank and Trust whereby the facility will be known as the Central National Bank Center. A week-long celebration will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 14, to introduce the new name, followed by Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo in concert on Thursday, June 16, and Alabama: Southern Drawl Tour on Saturday, June 18.

The partnership, arranged by Spectra, will be effective immediately and new signage will be unveiled over the next few months, beginning at the ribbon cutting ceremony on June 14. I spoke with Spectra management this morning and the old signage and name will start coming down as soon as today. Both the Event Center and Convention Hall will now be known as one facility, the Central National Bank Center. The new website will be www.cnbcenter.com. All signage on the building, on printed material and online will be changed over the next few months.

Centrally located in Northwest Oklahoma, the 5,000-seat Central National Bank Center has become the premier entertainment destination and banquet facility of Northwest Oklahoma. The center has been managed by Spectra since 2012 when it opened the Enid Event Center and re-opened the newly remodeled Convention Hall. Spectra has brought a multitude of concerts by internationally recognized artists to Enid such as Reba, Darius Rucker, Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Willie Nelson, The Beach Boys and most recently Vince Gill. The center has also played host to the 2016 Oklahoma Speaker’s Ball and Fireball Run. Since opening in 2012, Spectra has booked over 1,300 events for the facility.
