INTEGRIS entered a 60-day extension with BCBSOK in good faith and with confidence that a fair agreement will be reached before August 31, 2017. Extension beyond that date merely prolongs uncertainty and is not in the best interest of our patients or community. We are working diligently to reach agreement with BCBSOK before the extension ends, however, here are key dates to know in the event we do not reach an agreement:

*INTEGRIS facilities and ancillary services will be out-of-network September 1, 2017, but some conditions may qualify for continuity of care during a 90-day period thereafter

It is important to know that all INTEGRIS facilities, services and providers are in BCBSOK network at this time, and we will continue doing everything we can to reach a fair agreement with BCBSOK.

Unfortunately misleading reports are presenting an inaccurate picture of the ongoing INTEGRIS negotiations with Blue Cross Blue Shields of Oklahoma. INTEGRIS facilities are in network with BCBS through August 31, 2017. We remain committed to doing what’s best for their patients and will continue to work with BCBSOK to secure an agreement that maintains patients’ in-network access to care at INTEGRIS. Though we have not yet come to a resolution, negotiations continue.

The 60-day contract extension currently in-place provides more time for discussion and avoids disruption in patient care. These types of negotiations between health care providers and insurance carriers happen every year. In an effort to be responsible and transparent we will continue updating and communicating with patients as information becomes available.
