The APSE was formed in 1990 to promote, improve and expand employment opportunities for job seekers and workers with disabilities. The association’s membership includes people and organizations interested in promoting competitive work opportunities. APSE is the only national organization with an exclusive focus on integrated employment and career advancement for individuals with disabilities.

INTEGRIS Bass was nominated for the award by the Programs Manager for the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services because of the health care facility’s coordination in hosting the Project Search program, as well as efforts to employ and integrate individuals with disabilities. The programs, education and training at INTEGRIS Bass provide a unique opportunity for these individuals.

“We are excited to receive this award,” said Stacy Froese, Regional Director of Human Resources, INTEGRIS Health. “It has been very rewarding for us as an employer to offer programs such as Project Search and give back to the community. We have gained as much from these programs as the employees themselves and we plan to continue and grow these efforts as they are needed.”
