Celebration of Life service for Howard Morrow will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the Golden Oaks Chapel with Chaplain Tom Schenk officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Howard was born on August 7, 1927 in Clovis, New Mexico to Louis and Helen Williams Morrow and died on February 6, 2018 in Enid.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1949 and again 1951 – 1952. He married Jeanetta Shroyer and they had two children, Kenneth and Stephanie. Howard was a teacher in Oklahoma City from 1953 to 1958, Elementary Principal in Oklahoma City from 1958 to 1984, retiring at Edgemere Elementary. He was adjunct assistant professor at Oklahoma University 1978 and 1980. On April 4, 1984, Howard married Janice Nancolas. He was a salesman for World’s Finest Chocolate 1984 to 1990. Howard was on the Board of Arkansas Literacy Council and tutor for twenty years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanetta; two sons-in-law, Steve Ayr and Ted Vassar; two great granddaughters, Hannah and Mikelle Vassar; two brothers and two sisters.

Howard is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Kenneth Morrow of Dayton, Ohio, Stephanie Ary of Oklahoma City; stepchildren, Cheri Vassar of Enid, David Jennejahn of Geneva, Illinois, Robert Jennejahn of Hurstsboro, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and eleven great, great grandchildren.
