YWCA Sponsor a Teen for Christmas
Did you know teens are often an over looked category during the holidays because many programs have an age cut-off of 12? Our Teen Christmas Sponsorship program is another way YWCA Enid helps teens in our community. A $50.00 donation allows an underprivileged teen to receive Christmas gifts, who may not otherwise have anything to open on Christmas morning. Please consider sponsoring one or more teens this Christmas by donating funds for the purchase of presents from their wish lists.
This year, there are more teens in need of help than ever before. We are sponsoring a record 131 local teens making our fundraising goal $6,550 by December 8th. We are currently only half way to our goal, and as we strive to sponsor every teen in need, we value your support. Help us to make sure each teen in need can have a Christmas to remember this year. Stop by YWCA Enid front desk, mail a check, or click on the link below to sponsor a teen.-
Additionally, YWCA Enid's Adopt-A-Family Program provides gifts for families in the community and all of our Crisis Center clients. We rely on community members to Adopt-A-Family and to purchase gifts for them. The gifts are then brought to us wrapped, and the family is notified to pick them up. These gifts bring so much joy to these families in need. Currently, we have 8 families waiting to be adopted this Christmas.
