ENID, Okla. - Hillsdale is celebrating the 4th of July with a day full of activities. Everyone from the surrounding area is invited to attend. The day will begin with a pancake breakfast from 7:30-9:30am. Cost is by donation.

The Firecracker 5K begins at 8:00am and the Hillsdale Fun Run/Walk will start at 9:00am. Race start / finish line located in Hillsdale on Main St. June 27 is the last day to save but you can register through the day of the race. Sign up here.

Beginning at 10:00am there will be fun for the whole family including a parade, turtle races and a variety of games. The Firecracker 5K, along with these other events, allow Hillsdale to build community spirit and make continual improvements to their small town.

Lunch will be served at 11:30am and cost is by donation. The meals are a fundraiser for the Hillsdale Booster Club. There is not a specified cost, but a donation of some sort will be required.

Get your team ready for the Fourth of July 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at noon! Entry fee is $15 per team for the 12 & Under division with a $30 cash prize. The entry fee for 13 & Up is $30 per team with a $75 cash prize. Tournament finals will be at 8:00pm.

Dinner by donation will be served from 6:00-7:00pm and there will be a Cake Walk at 7:00pm. Be sure and stay for the Wiffle Ball Game at 8:30pm. The game will be played at Liming Field. Ages 13 and up are invited to participate.

The day will end with an All-American fireworks display at dark. This is open to everyone in the surrounding community. Donations would be appreciated to help offset the cost involved.
