Helen Louise Jacobs White, age 96, of Enid, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away at Baptist Village of Enid, Oklahoma, on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Helen was born in Birmingham, AL, on November 19, 1927. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Helen married Jack White in 1955, making several moves while Jack was in the Air Force. They eventually settled in Enid, where they raised their beloved son, John. Helen enjoyed volunteer work, reading, and playing cards with their many friends.
Her beloved Jack predeceased her in 2017; she was also predeceased by brothers, Dud and Ken. Helen is survived by her son, John White (Laura); two step-grandchildren, Ryan (Mandi) and Meredith (Steven); and five step-great-grandchildren, Michael, Collin, Matthew, Kylie, and Claire.
Helen was a sweet and lovely person, loved by all who knew her. A memorial/interment service will be held with family in Virginia at a later date.
