Funeral services for Hazel Alean Dilbeck, 86, will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at First Christian Church of Fairfax with Pastor Russell Hughes and Lewis Bernanrd officiating. Committal prayers and iterment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Hazel was born on August 28, 1935 in Cleveland, Oklahoma, the daughter of John E. Donnelly and Carrie Mae Humble Donnelly, and passed away peacefully on her birthday (August 28, 2021). She was raised in the Hominy/Cleveland area, graduating from Cleveland High School with the class of 1954. She worked at Munsingwear for twenty years and retired at Fairfax Hospital after 24 years of service. Hazel retired from Osage County Nutrician Center at the age of 82. On August 17, 1971, Hazel married Leon Dilbeck. They made their home in Fairfax. Hazel was a member of the First Christian Church of Fairfax.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Ratliff and Freda Hunter; daughter, Tammy and husband Don Ellis of Fairfax; grandchildren, Tiffany Burch and husband Eric of Fairfax; Kenny Harp of Fairfax; James Harp and wife Stacey of Oklahoma City; Kristopher Looney of Fairfax; Angie Neff and husband Jason of Fairfax; Trina Hutchison and husband Bryan of Fairfax; eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
Hazel was preceded in passing by her parents, John and Carrie Donnelly, sister, Helen Donnelly, two brothers, Paul and Jack Donnelly, and daughter, Tina Looney.
