ENID, OK - Groove Fest takes place Saturday, Sept. 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Government Springs Park in Enid. Admission is free.
"Groove Fest is simply a day to come be peaceful and enjoy our park together," said Tammy Wilson of Enid Event Company, coordinator of the event.
There will be vendors and a VW show and shine car show. Anyone with a VW or vintage van is encouraged to participate. There is no registration fee.
There is a costume contest at 4:00 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to wear their best 60's or 70's fashion. There is a community drum circle at 5:00 p.m.
