Enid has a great place to find quality baby clothes and baby items. What makes this store unique is that they're here to save you money by being a resale store.
Store owner, Lynette Rice, is married to Terry Rice and they have three kids, Shayni, Trenton and Keely. After having and dealing with three children over the years, Lynette understands the costs involved in clothing kids when they grow out of things so quickly. Plus the fact that a child's attention span is so short which makes buying toys a continuous process.
Lynette left her job of 10+ years in Alva to open Gracie's Place. While working in Alva, there was a baby resale store named Busy B that she fell in love with. Once she discovered that Enid was lacking in such a store concept, she fell in love with the idea of opening one herself.
Their oldest daughter, Shayni, gave birth to their first granddaughter in December 1012. Her name is Gracelyn Sue, Gracie for short. She is the love of their lives! The name Gracie's Place just popped into Lynette's head and it's just been stuck ever since!
Lynette's intention with the store is to sell good quality, gently used baby items and clothing up to 3T. Upon expressing her ideas to people, she heard repeatedly that many moms had been driving to Tulsa or OKC to visit a similar store and they were thrilled to have this concept in Enid. She feels honored to be able to provide this service to area residents.
Throughout the entire process of opening the store, Lynette has seen such an outpouring of support from her family, the community, the City of Enid and many friends she's made along the way. She is very proud to be opening a business in Enid, Oklahoma!
Gracie's Place focuses on resale baby items and clothing up to 3T. They are located at 1607 W. Chestnut, 580-237-3133. Their hours are M-F 10am to 7pm, and Sat 11am to 3pm.
