The funeral service for Glen Blasier, age 81, will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2016, at First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Dan Barrick, Rev. Ron McCaslin, and Rev. Jarrod Cloud officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be 5:00 to 6:30 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Glen was born to Otto and Hazel (Sterne) Blasier on October 19, 1935 in Mulhall, and passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016, in Enid.
Glen graduated from New Lima High School. On August 20, 1955, he married Elaine Bonebrake in Cushing. Glen was a production consultant in the oilfield business. They lived in various places, working in the oil business, and then moved to Enid in 1964. Glen was a member of Enid First Assembly of God Church.
Glen is survived by his wife Elaine, of the home; children Kevin Blasier and wife Becky of Enid, Becky Blasier of Oklahoma City, and Kenneth Blasier and wife Sheri of Enid; four grandchildren, Ashley Byerly and husband Daniel, Stephany Cleek and husband Travis, Justin Blasier and wife Julie, Tara Warner and husband Steven; three great-grandchildren, Gavin and Reagan Cleek, and Kennedy Byerly; and sister Freda Stacy of Oak Forrest, Illinois.
