Private family graveside service for Gerald D. Melson, 59 of Lahoma will be in Calvary Cemetery, Enid with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Gerald Dewane Melson was born on July 23, 1963 in the Army Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany to William Allen Melson, Jr. and Maria Luise Weth Melson, and died on October 9, 2022 at his home in Lahoma.
Gerald graduated from Lahoma High School in 1981 and went to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford on a music scholarship. He worked at NAPA as a salesclerk.
Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Luise Melson and brother, William “Billy” Melson III.
He is survived by his father, William “Allen” Melson, Jr.; brother and wife, Charles and Gina Melson; nephews, Joshua and Michael Melson.
