A Celebration of Life service for George Kotlan age 82 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Friday at the Enid Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
George was born October 2, 1940 in Garber, OK to Bill and Lael Schmidt Kotlan and passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 in Integris Bass Hospital. He attended North Enid and graduating from Enid High School. He attended Phillips University. He moved to Gallup, NM where he married Shirley Jo Palmer on April 8, 1962 and she passed away April 16, 2012. George was a produce manager at a local grocery store. He later opened his own business, G & S Statues. He moved back to Enid in 2008.
He is survived by, three sisters Mary Long, Frances Arambula, Willa Rogers and several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Nathan Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Daniel Kotlan.
