ENID, OK - The Gender Bender Benefit Concert is a night to support the Enid Welcome Table, a community meal for all, that will be served on Sunday evenings starting in January. As of now, there are no organizations that serve meals to the homeless, low-come or the community on Sundays and Enid Welcome Table, with the help of Enid organizations, would like to change that and serve community dinners on Sunday evenings.

The purpose of the benefit is to raise awareness of Enid Welcome Table and sign up volunteer organizations to cook one Sunday meal a year. The Gender Bender Benefit Concert is a night on Broadway but with a twist, where woman will sing male Broadway show tunes and the men sing women's show tunes. It will be a fun night for all!

The concert takes place on Saturday, November 12 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm at the Gaslight Theatre, 221 N. Independence.

Enid Welcome Table is a community meal on Sunday evenings for anyone wanting food and company. Every Sunday a local community organization will prepare a meal in the Central Christian Church Kitchen. The Volunteer Organization will arrive at 3pm to prep the meal and the meal will be served at 4:30 until everyone is served.
