ENID, OK - Amidst a crowd of theatre volunteers and patrons, Gaslight Theatre presented its 50th Charlie Awards Saturday August 27, 2022 at the Stride Bank Center.
The annual awards ceremony recognizes the shows, directors, actors, tech crews and all those who work to make community theatre in Enid possible. This year’s awards recognized shows for the 2021-2022 season.
Winners were as follows:
Best Featured Actor -- Brooke Phillips as Miss Andrew, Fannie, Chimney Sweep in “Mary Poppins“
Best Comedy Ensemble – The Players from “Clue on Stage“ (Chad Swanson as Colonel Mustard, Alex Johnson as Mr. Green, Jason Ogg as Professor Plum, Katie Pearce as Mrs. White, Christianne Chase as Mrs. Peacock, and Angela Gallagher as Miss Scarlet)

About Gaslight Theatre:
The Gaslight Theatre of Enid was founded in 1966 and is one of Oklahoma’s oldest, most active community theaters. Its mission is to provide a wide spectrum of high-quality theatrical entertainment to a broad audience in Enid and the surrounding communities, and to provide a setting for nonprofessional actors, directors, designers and technicians to learn and practice their art.
