Gary Froemming, age 76 of Enid passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020. Gary’s family will have a private service and out of love and safety for our family and friends, request to save visitation and personal greetings for another time in the future.
Gary was born in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Don and Avayse Froemming on June 21, 1944. He graduated from Cherokee High School and then Northwestern Oklahoma University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He worked as a manager for International Harvester and Krause Corp., then spent many happy hours working at Bill’s Bows and Guns. The outdoors was his passion and he could be found hunting or fishing at every opportunity. Although he was a member of Christian Church of the Covenant, he often spent time with God on a field or a pond.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen; daughter Christine Coffman (Tim Coffman); son, Darren Froemming; grandchildren, Rachelynn Coffman, Julia Coffman, Alyssa Froemming, Colby Froemming; sister, Joi Murphy; nieces and other family and friends.
Family will have a private service at a later date. Memorials may be made to Enid SPCA or St. Jude’s.
