Family Saturday hands-on activities are held monthly. The activities provided during Family Saturdays are free with admission to the museum. Admission for adults is $6 and $3 for children. Those five years and under are free.

The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center tells the story of the largest land run to settle what is now Oklahoma. The Center includes five exhibit galleries and the Humphrey Heritage Village, which is a collection of four historically significant buildings including the only remaining 1893 U.S. Land Office. The Center and the grounds are fully accessible to all visitors.
