Funeral services for Frances Bernadine Goldman, 70, Enid resident, will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in the Hoover Building with Chaplain Butch Phillips officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Frances was born on June 3, 1953 in Coweta, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jack Wells and Minnie Rebecca Booth Wells, and passed away on June15, 2023 at her residence. She was raised in Coweta then to Fairfax where she worked at a donut shop. and later, to Ponca City . Frances married James Charles Goldman on November 12, 1966. She moved to Enid where she worked for Bass Hospital in housekeeping, later as a security guard for the Koch Plant housekeeper in motels and Wee Too Restaurant. She worked in Claremore at Gateway Luggage. Frances worked at a chicken factory outside Ralston.
Survivors include daughters, Debbie Goldman of Enid, Rebecca Goldman of Enid; sons, Billy Goldman of Enid, John Goldman of Enid; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Ann Coleman of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Frances was preceded in passing by her husband, James in 2020 son, James Goldman, Jr.
