ENID, Okla. - Outdoor photographers learn to put themselves in the right place at the right time. On June 24, 2016 I knew there were clouds and possible storms in the area of Enid, Oklahoma. I decided I'd take a quick walk on the local trail hoping to catch a great sunset mixed with the clouds.
-
The first thing I noticed while walking was a white cloud beginning to shoot up towards the sky. I thought it looked pretty cool so I snapped a photo of it with my iPhone 6s. I kept walking and realized this thing was growing very quickly and was not going to stop.
-
I snapped a series of photographs of the cloud. Most are from different locations on the trail but the storm cloud was moving so slow that most shots capture it in the same location. Below is the series of shots I got over a 30 minute period of time.
-
These were all shot on the Enid Walking Trail between Garland and Cleveland just south of Lowe's.

The last shot is a panoramic shot I had to use to get the entire cloud in the photo.

Love those moments.
