A Celebration of Life for Floyd V. “Bud” Hoover, Jr., will be 10:00 am, Monday, August 7, 2017 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Bud was born October 12, 1930 in Enid to Floyd and Luella (Lane) Hoover and passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Bud was a graduate of the Class of 1948 of Enid High, and then attended OSU, formerly A & M. After college, he came back to Enid and farmed the land his grandfather Cyrus Hoover had homesteaded until his retirement. He married Betty (Poindexter) Bell, May 12, 1973.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Luella; son, John Hoover; two sisters, Donna Pedrick and Marjorie DeBusk; and step-daughter, Tamara Bell. He is survived by his wife Betty, of the home in Enid; two daughters, Jennifer Heffner of Cardiss, Wales; Julie Garrison and husband Eddie, of Norman, OK; step-son, Michael Bell, of Enid; four grandchildren, Royce Garrison, of Norman, OK; Katharine Heffner and Daniel Heffner, of Austin, TX; Casey Hoover and wife Amanda, of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
