ENID, OK - Jeremiah and Sarah Herrian opened Five80 Coffeehouse in 2013. They are now ready to move on to new opportunities and will be closing the coffeehouse. The last day will be Friday, January 26th.
If you have already reserved Five80 for an event/meeting, please don't worry; you are still welcome to use the space. They will have it open for you.
Mercy House volunteers will continually pick up guests at Five80 every day at 4:30 to take the shelter for a hot shower, meal, and a place to sleep.
THE HISTORY OF FIVE80
Jeremiah and Sarah Herrian created a quirky, designer friendly environment that delivered a warm, welcoming experience. They named their business Five80 Coffeehouse which was based on Enid's most popular area code, 580.
The goal of the coffeehouse was to create a space that was debt free, run by volunteers and able to give back to the community. The unique aspect of Five80 was its donation-based concept.
The Herrian's wanted the business to be known, not as a Christian coffeehouse, but rather a Christian owned coffeehouse. They implement a suspended coffee system which is a cup of coffee paid for in advance as an anonymous act of charity. A person in need was then later served a free cup of coffee.
The official ribbon cutting took place Tuesday, July 2, 2013. (photo below)
