ENID, OK - Already known as the best Baseball Park in small-town America, David Allen Memorial Ball Park attracts thousands of visitors each year. The Rotary Club of Enid is bringing an amazing event to the field with Enid’s first Field of Honor® display beginning Wednesday, May 26 at 9:00am.
Visitors will see rows and columns of 300 United States Flags atop 7½ foot white poles. The flags will fly in tribute to heroes who have earned our gratitude through their service and sacrifice.
Each sponsored flag tells the story of a person who deserves to not be forgotten. Active-Duty Military, Fallen Servicemen & Women, First Responders, Heroes in Our Lives, our Hometown Heroes, and all who have become our heroes deserve to be honored.
Flags dedicated for $50 will be posted in the formation to create a panorama of red, white & blue that will form a lasting memory for visitors to the Field of Honor® flag formation. This is a display that must be experienced to be fully understood.
You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. There is no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to share this inspirational experience. The Rotary Club of Enid can be reached at enidrotary@gmail.com.
David Allen Memorial Ballpark is located in downtown Enid in the 300-500 blocks of S. Grand St, Enid, OK 73701.
