ENID, OK - The 23rd year of Feed the Neighborhood is almost here! This year they will have a little over 1,500 backpacks filled with school supplies. Also, they are back to their drive-thru event at 3 different locations around town.
If you would like to donate towards sponsoring backpacks, you can contact Brittany (brittany@enidmad.org).
(For those who are sad they won't be doing the fun activities at the ballpark, don't worry! They will be passing out information at the drive-thru on a FUN, FAMILY event that will be taking place in September when it gets a little cooler, hosted by a local community organization!)
HISTORY
What started out to be a small event to reach out of the four walls of the church with a small group of people back in 1998, has grown to be a city-wide festival that blesses thousands of people in the Enid area. Feed the Neighborhood is an event that takes place each year in August on the Sunday evening before school starts.
Feed the Neighborhood is centered upon supplying the basic need for school supplies in the Enid community. It has grown to be a city-wide festival that feeds, serves, and empowers the people of the Enid area.
