Celebration of life for Everette Brewer, 83, of Enid, will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Brian Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Everette was born July 1, 1934 to Raymond Everette and Harriette Mae (Weathers) Brewer, and was called home on Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Everette grew up in Enid, graduated from Enid High School, and attended Phillips University. On November 20, 1959 he married Marilyn Sue Travis at Davis Park Christian Church in Enid, where they made their home. He worked as a Firefighter and is a retired Fire Chief of Enid. Everette is a current member and past president of the Oklahoma Retired Firefighter’s Association, and of the Oklahoma Fire Chief Association. He served 4 years on the Board of Directors for the Retired Firefighters Pension and Retirement System. Everette was an Eagle Scout, he served as a Marine in the Korean War, was an active member of AMBUCS, and a member of the Playboy Car Club. He enjoyed motorcycles and traveling with his wife, family, and friends.

Everette is survived by his daughters, Cindy Denham of Haltom City, Texas, and Kristi Moore of Enid; son-in-law Ronald Moore of Garber; brother Ronnie Brewer and wife LeAnn of Lone Grove; sister LaVonda Wentworth and husband Don of Enid. Three grandchildren, Travis Denham and girlfriend Rebecca, Trevor Denham and wife Ashley and Chelsie McKinney and husband Rodney; 6 great grandchildren, Melody and Aubrey Denham and Deiondré, Zackary, Thaileke, and Boomer McKinney;

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law David Denham and his beautiful wife Marilyn.
