American Military Heritage Museum Grand Opening

The former OK Military History Exhibit now has a permanent home inside the old Sears space at Oakwood Mall. Join them for the grand opening of the American Military Heritage Museum on Saturday, November 2 from 11 am-4 pm. Food, fun, live music and 40,000 sq ft of military memorabilia. Free admission. 25TH ANNUAL FOOD & FUN FESTIVAL ESPCA's 25th Annual Festival is Saturday, November 2, at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. This 21+ event will be a great time out with friends. NOC Planetarium Show

The Mackie Planetarium on the Northern Oklahoma College Enid campus will host the November Planetarium Show on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. November’s show will present the night sky over Enid and show prominent constellations in the winter evening sky. Planetarium director Fritz Osell will also show known stars with planets and present some aspects of commercial resources available from the moon and asteroids and present novel concepts for space travel. Veterans Day Parade

Local groups and organizations will be participating in this years Veterans Day Parade. Parade organizers hope to have cars, motorcycles, floats, bands, horses and vendors. All residents are encouraged to come downtown and help honor our veterans.  

Veterans Day Holiday Closings and Schedules

City of Enid Offices 401 West Owen K. Garriott, Enid, OK, United States

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, all City of Enid administration offices (including Solid Waste), Enid Animal Welfare, Enid Public Library, and the Recycle Center will be closed Monday, November 11. In addition, the Enid Public Transportation Authority (EPTA) will not be operating on Monday, November 11. The Meadowlake Golf Course will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 11. The regular trash schedule will remain the same for this week.
