Winter Chautauqua
Northwestern Oklahoma State University 2929 E Randolph, Enid, OK, United StatesWinter Chautauqua 2025 is on Saturday, February 1 at NWOSU Enid Campus, 2929 E Randolph. There will be an educational workshop at 10:30 am, a brown bag lunch workshop at noon, and the dramatic evening performance at 7 p.m. The presentations will be led by Dr. Tom King portraying Ulysses S. Grant and discussing his legacy in United States history. This is a great way to spend a chilly Saturday learning and being entertained indoors.

Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center 507 S 4th St, Enid, OK, United StatesA three-part series at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center (CSRHC) in Enid called “A.M. with the Archivist” begins on Saturday, January 11. Each session will take place from 10-11 a.m. in the museum’s Research Center. The final session of this three-part series will take place on Saturday, February 8. The title is “The Great Depression in the Cherokee Outlet.” Preston will discuss how the Cherokee Outlet suffered and grew during the worldwide economic downturn.
