Learn local history in an interesting way! Mark your calendars for Oct. 4-5 as Tombstone Tales returns to the Enid Cemetery! Re-enactment characters portray historic personalities who once lived in the Enid area and, as you ride through the cemetery, they approach your wagon to tell their unique, true stories. Family Farm Day

Come shell and grind corn, visit the petting zoo, decorate pumpkins, and MUCH MORE! These are just a few of the many activities families will experience at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center’s annual Family Farm Day event that celebrates the proud farming heritage that built Northwest Oklahoma!

Hennessey Wine & Chocolate Festival

The Hennessey 13th Annual Wine & Chocolate Festival has become legendary in Oklahoma drawing thousands of wine and chocolate connoisseurs to this event. The festival continues to grow each year and has become one of the largest premier wine events in Oklahoma, with over 20 wineries. Spend the afternoon in the beautiful Hennessey Memorial Park enjoying great chocolates, music, sampling more than 100 wines from over 20 wineries at the official Oklahoma State Wine Festival. Must be 21 to consume wine, valid driver's license is required to obtain a wine wrist band.

Enid Speedway Racing

Enid Speedway 111 W. Purdue, Enid, United States

68TH NRCA GRAND NATIONALS AUTO RACES Between 150 and 200 participants will race for over $100,000 in prize money, with seven divisions of racing over three days. Saturday only: sprint cars Gates open at 5 pm, racing begins at 7:30 pm. Concession stand and vendor booths open all three nights. Tickets $25 for ages 13 and up, children age 12 and younger admitted free. Pit pass $35 for ages 10 and up, $15 for children ages 5-10. There will be a carnival west of the grandstands that runs Oct. 10-13, and fireworks after the show on Oct. 12.
