Writing Workshop
St. Matthew's Episcopal Church 518 West Randolph, Enid, OK, United StatesThe Enid Writers Club will present their fall writing workshop on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 518 West Randolph, Enid, OK 73701. The workshop will begin at 10 am—registration, coffee, and doughnuts at 9:00. We have 4 speakers, Rene Gutteridge, Laurel Thomas, Peggy Doviak, and Nick Lyons. We are offering pre-registration and payment electronically or by check. But pre-registration is a must, so we have a headcount. The price of the workshop is $20 and that includes lunch. NOC Planetarium Show
Mackie Planetarium Michael Hedges Blvd., Enid, OK, United StatesThe Mackie Planetarium on the Northern Oklahoma College Enid campus will host the November Planetarium Show on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. November’s show will present the night sky over Enid and show prominent constellations in the winter evening sky. Planetarium director Fritz Osell will also show known stars with planets and present some aspects of commercial resources available from the moon and asteroids and present novel concepts for space travel. Santa at the Enid Library
Enid Public Library 120 W. Maine, Enid, OK, United StatesThe Enid Public Library invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with two special visits from Santa Claus this month. Santa returns to the library on Monday, Dec. 23, 2 p.m. Families are invited to meet Santa once more, hear stories, share the holiday cheer, and take part in the day’s activities.
