Town Hall Meeting: Affordable Housing

Garriott Road, Enid, OK, United StatesCity officials announced that Ward 2 Commissioner Derwin Norwood and Ward Three Commissioner Keith Siragusa will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 25th at First Missionary Baptist Church, located at 467 East Owen K. Garriott Road. The Council and the staff will respond to the topics or questions, but no decisions or votes will occur during town hall meeting. Leonardo's Back To School Bash

Maple, Enid, OK, United StatesWith the new school year starting soon, Leonardo’s wants to help families finish off summer break with one final big fun day at Leonardo’s Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 10 from 10am to 6pm. There will be back-to-school themed crafts, face painting, outdoor summer activities, a complimentary frozen treat for the first 200 guests, chances to win door prizes, and more. All included with regular admission or with membership to the museum. Located at 200 E. Maple. Regular admission is $11.99 per guest (before sales tax) and children 1 and under get in free.

Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together. People use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones. It's fun, social, educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need. Learn more about the world of ham radio, and perhaps even apply to become a licensed amateur radio operator. Admission is $10 at the door.
