MLK March & Celebration

Each year the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission plans and organizes a comprehensive tribute that promotes diversity, equality, and education consistent with Dr. King's dream, work, and legacy. This year is the 60th anniversary of the march on Washington.
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission announces the following celebratory events:
MARCH: The march is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Those interested in attending should meet outside the Stride Bank Center.
PROGRAM: The celebratory program begins at 2 p.m. at the Stride Bank Center.
