ENID, OK - A social media post began circulating on Thursday that stated there was a rumor that there would be an act of violence at Enid High on Friday.

Enid High campus police and the Enid Police Department were investigating the threat on Thursday. As of late Thursday evening, there was no evidence that the threat was credible.

Enid High School principal, Dudley Darrow, sent out a robocall with an important message for EHS parents. He stressed that safety was Enid High's greatest priority, and they were taking the matter very seriously.

Durrow said Enid High would hold classes on Friday with a heavy police presence at the school throughout the day.
