ENID, OK - Enid Public Schools Education Celebration was held Wednesday, February 24. The event is sponsored by the Enid Public Schools Education Foundation.
This years winners were Denise Wright, the Enid Public Schools Support Professional of the Year and Christie Buckner, Enid Public Schools Teacher of the Year.
EPS honored all building-level teachers of the year as well as the support professional of the year finalists at the Education Celebration.
“These teachers are just a few of the excellent educators we have in our classrooms,” Superintendent Dr. Darrell Floyd said. “We are thankful for their leadership in each of our buildings and I congratulate them on this achievement in representing our schools.”
The EPS Teacher of the Year winner, selected by a community committee, will now represent the district at the Oklahoma Teacher of the Year competition next fall.
