ENID, OK - On 1-31-2020 at 3:18AM Enid police officers responded to a burglary in progress at a residence near the intersection of 16th Street and Park Ave. in Enid. Arriving officers learned that three suspects had attempted to force their way into the house and were confronted by an armed resident.

The resident fired several rounds and the suspects ran from the area. One of the suspects was found near the intersection of 16th Street and Oklahoma suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital where he died a short time later. The remaining two suspects have not been located.

The person killed during the attempted burglary that resulted in a homicide was later identified by family members as Ezavier Lee Condit, age 14.
