Enter His Gates started in 2008 when long time Enid resident, Doris Williams, took a friend's children, who were going through a troubling time, to see her horse. Williams knew the healing that her horse had brought to her so offered to let the kids interact with it to see if it would do the same for the children. The time was such a success that Williams felt led to start offering that healing to more children in the form of a summer camp. Currently Enter His Gates holds a summer camp that hosts about 100 children over five weeks. The campers get to experience horseback riding as well as other outdoor activities. Then campers gather to learn more about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. This year's camp saw 19 young people accept Christ as their savior.

Williams knew there was more that could be done so she decided to add therapeutic riding for special needs and all-ability riders to the Enter His Gates list of services. A member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, Enter His Gates is committed to the highest standards of providing services to our clients, which are often provided at low or no cost to our clients who qualify for scholarships. Which is where your support is vitally important. The proceeds from this concert will allow Enter His Gates continue to fulfill the mission of Finding Hope: Loving God, Kids, and Horses.
