ENID, OK - As teens we bought our blue jeans there and in college we bought ski gear there. Simpsons Mercantile is no longer a retail store but the mystique and wonder of the store continue. Rick and Larry Simpson have turned in their bar codes for cowboy memorabilia and western movies.

At the Simpson's Old Time Museum, browse through the Native American artifacts and view a private doll collection that numbers over 1800. You'll step back into the old west. You'll find wide variety of collections and artifacts.
-
In the center of the museum is an authentic chuck wagon complete with a campfire and cook. Surrounding the chuck wagon scene on a split rail fence is a large collection of high back saddles dating back to 1900.
-
Right near the Wall of Fame (or Wall of Shame, because they have no shame, as Larry says) is a petrified dinosaur poop. No kidding! Be sure and look up to see all of the famous people Rick and Larry have gotten their picture taken with.
-
If you look hard enough you'll also find Hopalong Cassidy memorabilia, baseball collectibles, train sets and wide range of military items from the cavalry days through WWII are just a few of the many displays found in the museum.
-
Every year people come from virtually around the world to visit Simpson's Old Time Museum and take pictures in Skeleton Creek's movie sets used in the filming of their family westerns. Take your camera and go join in on the fun!
-
In 2009, the Simpsons welcomed visitors from 47 states and 32 foreign countries as well as from nearly every city and town in Oklahoma into their museum and movie studio.
-
Don't be surprised if they offer you a cold bottle of Coke when you enter the building. The cost for the tour and an ear full of western history is a whopping nuttin'!
-
Since 2006, the museum has been the location for thousands of events. Baby showers, family reunions, birthday parties for the young and old, anniversaries, political fund raisers, concerts, ice-cream socials, wedding rehearsals, wedding receptions and dozens of weddings have taken place in the museum.
