December 8, 2015
Our Fellow Enidites:
Volunteering for Enid Mobile Meals is a great way to make a huge impact in a short amount of time.  By delivering meals you bring nutritious food and a friendly visit to our homebound seniors and people with disabilities in your community.  Anyone can deliver meals, and it’s a great volunteer opportunity for families, teams of employees, and church groups as well. Sign up today and find out how easy and rewarding it is to bring nutrition and independence to your neighbors!

The Plan is Simple:
Enid Mobile Meals, delivers 5 days a week, a hot meal right to their homes.  The plan is simple: You pick up your route around 10:45 am from either St. Mary’s or the Bass Pavilion.  You then deliver those meals to the people on your route (can be between 6-12 people).  It only takes an hour to deliver.  PLEASE consider being a part of this amazing program.

Our needs are expanding and so we are asking our local volunteer base to expand with us!  We are the greatest community of givers and I know we know how to work together for the greater good!  Let’s help our seniors, our leaders, our Parents, and our Grandparents!  Thanks, Enid!

Retired Seniors Volunteer Program

-
If you're a senior, or know a senior, struggling with food insecurity, RSVP and the Senior Center can help! Just contact them at 237-1447. Thanks to the SPCA, they can also help you keep your pet fed with healthy dog or cat food. If you don't need food, or help, you are blessed and can help in other ways. They need drivers once a month to help deliver their food bags!

Who Is RSVP?

-
RSVP provides life-changing opportunities for volunteers ages 55 and over. They help meet the critical needs of communities by mobilizing tens of thousands of hours of volunteer service. They strengthen public and nonprofit agencies by matching skilled volunteers with vital programs and services.
-
Enid Mobile Meals relies on the dedicated support from RSVP volunteers to serve almost 120 meals each day! Through volunteerism, there is an elevated sense of belonging because the volunteer gets to achieve something of importance by being able to express their creativity or by finding an outlet for their compassion or desire to help.
